Thread: Any VOIP service to protect our phone numbers?

Is there any VOIP service or tools to protect our phone number being displayed in my blog. I wish my readers to contact me through phone, but I don’t want to display my phone number to be prominent and want to make it private, is there any way that I can hide and let users contact me through that tool. I have heard that such service is available in U.S. but not sure whether it is available in India or not, any suggestions??

Yes you can do this with most voip clients. I use skype and it lets you redirect your incomming calls to any number you want.
I have different local numbers for clients in each country and it doesnt cost too much either with voice quality being second to none.
