Default What is better than WhatsApp?

I need a new messaging application which also provides calls, I have WhatsApp the messaging service is good but I am not too impressed with the call quality. Is there any other application which provides both these services and is free?

You could use viber and see if that works for you but you need to have it on both ends. I find its voice quality to be ok. It is not just the service but your own internet connection has to be good with both upload and download speed atleast half mbps with low latency and less hops to have a good voice experience.

for the same quality of net connection, LINE gives best voice clarity, followed by Viber. Both give better clarity than Whatsapp. LINE and Viber allow multiple device registration, so you can have them installed in Phone (one), non-SIM tablet (multiple) and PC (multiple) nd then use any of the devices, as per your convenience.

I personally feel like nothing is better than WhatsApp, we always want something better but never see the good in what we currently use. WhatsApp has some very good features, and I think apart from the calling feature the fact the other person has received and seen your message can be known by the sender.

I suggest you to go with viber. This provides both call and message facility. You need good net connectivity to use viber. Another option is to go with Line.

So far WhatsApp is one application which is known to be the best for messaging and voice calls. I have used Line but found there to be a bit of problem with the calls. Skype is also a good option but not many people use this, and I think with Skype you can only receive message when you have opened the application, where as with WhatsApp you can receive message when you have not opened the application.
