Default TeleCommunication Systems In Agreement With ConneXon For Reselling VoIP Service

TeleCommunication Systems, Inc., a wireless communications provider, revealed an agreement with ConneXon Telecom, Inc. to resell TeleCommunication Systems's Voice over Internet Protocol E9-1-1 service. This is the first venture of the company into enterprise segment that provides with integration of medium to small businesses.

The Annapolis, Maryland based company said that under the terms of the agreement ConneXon will launch 911Enable, a new service based on the TCS VoIP E9-1-1 service, for call delivery to Public Safety Answering Points or PSAPs for real-time call routing of emergency VoIP 9-1-1 calls.

Jon Croy, Senior Director, VoIP Services, TeleCommunication Systems, said, "We believe this reseller agreement marks an excellent way to introduce our E9-1-1 offerings to a much broader audience and it may ultimately improve enterprise VoIP user access to E9-1-1 services."

TeleCommunication VoIP E9-1-1 solution provides over 3,000 PSAPs, facilitating VoIP providers to offer superior emergency services to clients. The company provides support to its VoIP providers in managing operations with VoIP E9-1-1 services, and believes the process of integration with ConneXon would enable it add channel partners without additional cost, allowing both companies lower operational costs on the E9-1-1 services.

TSYS last traded at $2.24, on a volume of 83,149 shares on the Nasdaq.
