The Volkswagen recreated the magic of Beetle with the introduction of the New Beetle, which draws inspiration heavily from the exterior design of the original version of Beetle. But unlike the original Beetle, the engine in the New Beetle is in the front, with luggage storage located in the rear. All Volkswagen models have been well known for their traditional quality. The New Beetle adds to the fame of Volkswagen with all its materials being selected and tested optimally.

The body of the New Beetle has been galvanized as a reliable protection against rusting. The new Beetle has its high-strength panels with an additional stability at specific points. The body parts of the car have been fit with precision for a picture perfect dimension.

The New Beetle comes with a comprehensive active safety package which makes it one of the safest cars in its own class with additional safety features such as ESP and ABS. To give the maximum possible protection, the new Beetle is also reinforced with a passive safety package including features like restraint system, four airbags and a 3-point inertia reel seat belt active at both front and rear.

The New Beetle gives the comfort and convenience offered only by an exclusive standard specification. The engine used in the car is an 116PS - 85 KW unit of engine. The car also has other comfort features like electrically adjustable and heated door mirrors and power steering. The door mirror housings, door handles and bumpers are all color keyed.
