| And I would buy a Ford anyday (i.e., Ford is good). This is not to say I am against VW - VW is German after all, but I have first hand experience of more than one Ford and I ^know^ they are good. |

| Platinum Member | @Shadowncon, Correction. Opel is not German - it is US brand owned by GM. In UK it is known as Vauxhall, in AUS known as Holden. @smnesmwhr, You really like Ford cars? Well, it is a personal choice. But I would not touch a Ford. The following classifies the world cars: German: (Excessive) Engineering Excellence. Most reliable and sturdy. Announcing a presence. Japanese: Very economical and value for money. Also very reliable. Italian/French: Good looking (best Sports cars are Italian). American: Huge, Comfortable, Fuel Guzzlers. Korean: The Japan challengers but at least 2/3 steps behind.
