Hi,

For simple websites that are not interactive, there are so many templates/programs/softwares available. However if you are serious about creating dynamic and interactive websites, then you should either learn all the advanced development things like LAMP, ajax etc or give the job to a web developer/designer.

There are many softwares which are being used for creating a web page.Some of most important are frontapage.If you know some knowledge of programming you can also use HTML editor and PHP programming.
