Thread: Best Topsite Hosting Site?

Hi there,

Well i am kinda searching for a best registrar [universal] for hosting a Topsite, which can also be defined as "Mass/Huge Traffic site for Game Sites", but i am unable to configure/figure-out best site that provides, domain registration+ hosting since it requires huge/mass bandwidth transfer as months pass on.

Well i don't have a piece of idea where to host it.

---->Is it best to just register a domain at a good domain registrar and host the site at a free webhost like :x10host who provide free web host for masses??
or register a domain with a domain registrar+host with them itself??

Please help me, i wish you would do.

Check bluehost..... it's pretty good web hosting service with cheap fee.....

Hello Amit,

You can find a number of companies that can satisfy your requirements. You can get universal domains at Godaddy at cheap rates. But, I would strongly suggest you not to opt for a hosting provider that offers free hosting services.There are number of hidden clauses that you would realise when you sign-up with them. Things such as back-up data, upgrades, advertisements, problem while switching between hosting companies.
One must be extra cautious while choosing a hosting company.Better go for a cheap web hosting company.

Before choosing a company I recommend have google or search in forums about their review. This is important because everybody wants to stay with a host for longer. Try staying away from hosts who offers unlimited space and unlimited b/w.

Remember, you get what you pay for.

I got Several Question now, kindly Guide me through it.

1) I got 1 account in ICICI bank on my last job, i asked whether i can do online transactions in the web like: Paypal, e-bay, amazon and much more, they said yes, you can. But Its Electron and i can't.
Since this is the issue, Now i need to purchase 1 VCC [Virtual Credit Card], my question here is Can i get a vcc from ICICI bank? and if so what product should i go with and is paypal accepting VCC's now?

2) Can i use Godaddy's Dedicated Server to host Topsites?else which Host would be good to host as not many webhosts provide hosting since many of them disabled my account and payed my money back by locking the domain names.

Kindly guide me through....

Ans. If you have a Visa Credit Card, you can pay via PayPal,Google Checkout or 2Checkout. Though its an electronic money transfer, you can use your credit card to send the money across.

Ans. Yes you can lease servers from Godaddy, they have a good reputation in the hosting industry, but moreover, they are reputed for offering domain names at cheap prices. We would like to know the geo location where you wish to host your website. I mean, it would be simple to recommend you a web hosting provider, if you can let us know the location where you wish to have the server located.

I don't mind hosting in any Geo location though, the only problem is all about a good hoster, as i mentioned, i got Debit card with Visa Logo on it, ICICI Credit cards are non-worthy due reason the Employees of that company are worthless when it comes to the point of service to customers and they [Bank as a whole] got many complaints.
So i asked can i buy a VCC by paying the cash, if yes what are all the procedures that i need to follow.. Hope you understand.

Why don't you consider a local provider who can provide hosting to you with DD/Cheque/Wire Transfer ? This will solve your CC problem.

Well/wel i suppose a nice suggestion but i don't have any idea about who in India provides and promises hosting? Cause i have no idea relating this, can you please suggest some?

Are you looking for US based Hosting or India based Hosting ? And what kind of hosting plan you are looking for , like Shared, Reseller or VPS etc ?

There are many good web hosting all depends on your need

Well, i am thinking like this:

First ill go with Paid, till i get good amount of Traffic+generate some revenue, once the site gets good [Pr], then i am sure to shift to VPS hosting, if not Dedicated, and will stick to the host for a long time depends on the service and support they provide...

I would recommend in such case, to start with a shared hosting plan which will be cheaper fo you. But look for a host which can provide you good uptime. Uptime is necessary for building good [pr] traffic and a good google page ranking, which can drive many traffics to your website.

Well after searching, i want to know how is HostGators Hosting plan?+Upkeep?? is it good? affordable? or should i choose some other hosting providers?

Ok, Registered domain now, but i need a good hoster in India, cause I re-enquired ICICI people, all they say "We are sorry we cannot allow Foreign exchange transactions, all transactions can only be done within India".

I searched Google, but i found no go hoster, so this is the cause i will depend on your words..

Go with either one of these these are the best....
