Yes, of course there is a big difference between paid hosting and free hosting. Using free hosting, you will have to take the services they provide as it is. You cannot complain if thing goes wrong with your website. Because you don't pay for their services, they can cancel their services anytime without obliged to inform you before.

Thats the one way what you have said is right.
The other way round is that i am merely finding any difference in the traffic where in i am using 2 Hosts 1 Free other Paid both are .COM, but both have same traffic problems and lame members..... This is the major portion i practically doubt....

Better go for paid hosting. Free hosting at times cancel your account without notice. You loose all your data.

The general consensus is that using a free hosting site is not very professional. Many scam artist run off free hosting sites.

At times now i am worrying about traffic itself by default, don't know how to accumulate it, done many thing, but of-course failing.
In-anyways, having a backup in Free hosting does matter no-matter they cancel your account, cause you can re-again use it with other host...

Matters when both Free and Paid gets reaches notch at times...

Better to go with paid hosting basic packages are avail from 1500 to 2500 and its not a big amount you can enjoy max uptime... but go with a reputed brand in the market. free hosting is not but its a scam kind of things when you host any thing on your website on free hosting they access your files and even your database too they take the data from your website and misuse were as in paid hosting due to security concern they have very strict policies hey never do these kind of practices.

In addition to what the others have mentioned. I would say of course the liberty of having your own domain name. You will have more space to work with, as opposed to the free-hosting services where your services are limited.

May free hosting sites like Byet allow you to have your own custom domain names. You can get .info domains for 2$ and a lot of non TLD free domains are available ..

There will not be much difference when your site has a little or minimal traffic. Some free hosts are not adsense friendly.
Wordpress has problems with some free hosts in php issuses.
Free hosts are as good as Shared hosting but sign up for a hostgator i month plan with 1 cent coupon then you will know how powerfull and ultra fast they are compared to free hosts.

May I know the freehost you were using ??

Once its done ill register with Hostgator..

.COM but free? Nobody is going to provide you a '.COM' the most common '.tld' for free. I suppose you are telling that you purchased a domain and pointed it to some hosting providers who provide hosting for free?

Well, don't you feel the risk of being in a free host? What will you do if they suddenly ban your site? You'll have to go for a paid hosting anyhow.

You won't be having full rights over your website. Is that OK to you? Didn't they place google adsense inside your site with which they make money? Aren't you annoyed of it?

More over, if you have purchased a '.com' domain, hosting is ultra cheap. $5 or $6 / month is affordable for anyone who is in need of a website. If that is not affordable, don't just think of Bluehost, Hostgator and other big hosts. There are many hosts all around you & me which may not be very popular but still provide good hosting service at a even more cheaper cost. Have a search

I have been using free hosting for about 18 months with 000webhost.com and have never had down time, nor do they put ads on the sites. I have been well treated, and all my tickets have been responded to in a timely manner.
I have used two different paid hosting companies and both have let me down. So who would you use in these circumstances?

000webhost is like an exception. I hear they serve their free members well. If you go for a paid hosting service, don't choose the cheapest one. The old adage is still used here: you will get what you paid for.

Ok, chillax guys, i have though not much considering any of these anymore cause none of the both have much difference and yes, Paid is going somewhat ok than Free, you see "free tho free hai" aur paid "Kud ki kamayi..," Nevermind in Free or paid and ya 000webhost.com [AKA] the crap one which i have ever come across than Lycos, tripod, 100mb and old school[Yahoo's Geocities].
mere lucky for those who say that they are serving good for their free users and the place that i have hosted never annoys you nor put any sort banners and yes, my Website got [Pr1] whereas Paid is at [Pr0] but paid is doing somewhat well....

Great. You see paid hosting sites are really better. And the main reason why there are these crappy free hosting sites is that its some sort of a lure. You see, if you're a first time in getting a web host, you wouldn't want to pay for it right away right? And so there are these free web hosting services as a trial. And if you're ready to go pro, you'll probably buy their paid services.

Free hosting as well as cheap hosting are the best options for the new buyers.

I use Rediffmail Pro package of Rs.2999 which gives me 20MB webspace and 5 email id's. I think personal email id's is another advantage with paid hosting.

Is it not common that free things only have limitations and if you pay for something then there are more advantages to it!
