Question Building a browser based MMORTS

I am a serious gamer. Spent most of my time gaming in the past. From the experience from the past i have a game in mind which i would like to develop.

Its a real time strategy (RTS) which will be played thousands of players online through web browser.(MMORTS)

Ex: Travian, Tribal Wars, Ikariam etc...
    http://travian.in
    http://tribalwars.net
    http://ikariam.org

I'm doing a search on implementing it for past few days but i couldn't find a proper platform on which i work on.

Can anybody help me build it down from scratch? What are the softwares, hardwares and other stuffs required to build it? I don't know anything about this until now except that it requires it requires coding to be done but i don't know how.

    Smile Come and discuss

Feel free to explore and discuss this on our forums - we have many devs and players as an audience and nearly every MMORTS player will assume he knows something you havent considered lol.

Hi there! You know that is a really great idea, to develop you own game in the internet that is. But I have to ask first, what are your background in the internet? Any background from web designing or game developing?
