and services on it, now i am fed up and presenting the info about how others can host free website and email on Google apps..

For those who don’t have money to purchase a domain:
On the internet, there are many companies providing a free domain, this free domain is actually a sub domain where the first part is your name and the suffix is their’s. like for ex . mickey.findhere.org or mickey.co.cc . Here findhere.org and co.cc are the free domain providers and so there are many companies which provide such service to you free of cost, for unlimited time and with full controls…
I am a listing a few which are possibly the best free domain providers
1. afraid.org This company is the most useful service provider in this respect. They have a very-very big list of free domains to choose from. Atleast, 4000 if I counted right. You can host your home servers on there domains, have free email of your own ,like @yourname….. and you can also host your domain and donate it to them with full control on user’s lists so that others in the world can also have a sub domain on your domain.)They also provide free url redirection which I will tell later. But there are some limitations too.. You can have a maximum of five hosts on your free account and you can’t have a 3 or 4 letter domain like mail , gov etc..or a adult one.. Sometimes when a domain is shared by some others to you which they own, the domains get deleted and also the admin of the domain may punish you for no causes. Just what happened with me.. I was running a free domain with afraid.org and what happened is that when I was working on my site after some days the site vanished from the net and it was because the people at afraid.org deleted/banned my account, when I asked why, they said go through the policies..huh??!!! This is the biggest demerit. for more, kindly read their policies mentioned A VERY GOOD LINK ON MAKING A GOOD SITE BY FTP .
2. sitelutions.com Another company with a great user interface and user control on domains. Just like afraid.org they too have a list of free domains to choose from.
You can host your name servers, host email, do url redirection.. If you have a domain or even a subdomain from another service provider you can host unlimited number of domains all for free.. There are no limitations and no user obligations. I personally use it and feel it more useful than afraid.org. To sign up
3. fdns.net Nice user interface. You can choose a domain like myname.fdns.net. Host a free
domain or a domain from elsewhere. Have mail hosting.. Sign up here
4. yi.org Another useful company. What I like in their system is that you can log into your
account by your username or your email id with which your registered. Great service to
choose and a list of domains to choose. Go to yi.org for more
5. dynu.com They provide with two different domains to choose from a) dynu.com b)
dynu.net service is ok and the user control is nice.. dynu.com for signing up to their
service
6. cjb.net This is one of the oldest service provider in this list. You can sigm up to their free
service which is available here . Sign up to their host a free domain name and their you
are. But there are limitations too. You have to check your account atleast in three months
and if you don’t they can kill your account.. How so, before doing this they usually send
an email and when you have ignored their emails the service will be deleted in somedays.
7. no-ip.com Another free service with a list of free domains to choose from. But there is
also the sign-in-a month limitation which means that you have to login to your account
atleast once a month. ( I HAVEN’T CHECKED IT YET)The interface is not very user friendly but some people do like it...

8. co.cc The newest in this league. Co.cc is owned by someone sitting in Korea. A very new service which has got a cool domain name co.cc ( I think the shortest you can choose, else rr.nu which looks freak.) They have a limitation of two domains/account and sometimes you may not get a domain that you want. They have a clever software which unables you to sign up a free domain which looks great. Like if you want to register russiamail.co.cc ( I haven’t checked if its available or not) you may receive something like this “ domain you want is not available but you can buy it for $ 10” :- ) I would say they are really some people with good sense of business… Go to CO.CC - Free Domain name registration + Free DNS service. for signing up.
9. dd.blueline.be This company from Belgium gives you with free domain and a dns service. They had plans of giving users with free url redirection but I think that it hasn’t being done till now. Planning to sign up a domain like this user.dd.blueline.be or bluelinecomputers.be if you think the former is shorter.. http://dd.blueline.be
10. fadlan.com With a fadlan subdomain. You can give your dns host’s ip address ( ns) or
your home ip.
Maybe, I haven’t listed all the free domain providers here, as there are thousand such services throughout the net. Please do mail me any broken link or anything which I forgot to mention

After, you have signed up a free domain or a paid domain, you will require some technical things to be done. There are free ways to make a domain. Don’t be afraid of when you hear Technicalities. Actually these are mere little server orientations. But these are important and without these you can’t make a website.
Somedays back, I saw one of my friends making his website. I saw him doing this by a blogger’s account. Ah I said.. This man is making a blog not a website. A blog is not always a professional site. And he said ok You make my site and there, I was making his site and all through I saw his face, he asked, How did you learn all this , and I replied just a little itching on the netJ .. Yes indeed if you itch a little on net, its very useful.. I made his blog turned up into a website that was far professional not just in looks but also in content and I also hosted his free email accounts with user@myfriend’sdomain..
Technicalities: There are two basic ways to make a professional free website. The first one is older way and used by most of the people. I wont say that it is outdated. There are many companies which provide with free webhosting for individuals or small companies. To search one for you just type this and google search it “ free webhosting companies with php, cgi, ftp” and you will get thousands of such site which are good in giving you their services and all for free of cost. Also see the bandwidth they provide and the limitations. Some do not provide php while others wont host your cgi or zip files. Some will even wont permit you to upload a few megabytes of data…
What I found was 0fees.net hosting. Their service is free, adless and uptime is always high.
You can see one of my experiment sites at www.indinet.co.cc has expired ( its just an experimental site) You can see how I made the site for free of cost. I had a co.cc domain and hosted it on their servers. ( ofees.net servers) . To host your domain at someone’s servers the algorithm is given below.
In your domain’s control panel( settings) or user control ( domain control) you will see a place where the following options will be written:
1. Add name servers ( NS); in this section give the ns servers for your domain host or webhost. What this does is, it links you to the webworld. You will get a ns server or two to link to your domain, For example if you hosted a domain at co.cc give your ns server as ns1.0fees.net ( for an account at 0fees.net) similar ns servers are there for other hosting companies. They will look like ns1.server.com. You have to add your domain in your hosting company and add your server in your domain’s ns settings and its done. After you have completed this, it will take a little time to propagate through net, this means that the ns servers of the world will be refreshed with your new domain which is given to you. You can check if your domain is ok. Go to FreeDNS - Free DNS - Dynamic DNS - Static DNS subdomain and domain hosting in the right part of the website there is a tool called trace dns. Just enter yourname.domain.com in it and you will see a report of where from your domain started and where ended. If by the way you don’t see the name of your name servers which you allotted to your domain, don’t worry because to propagate the net it takes 24- 72 hours and after that if it still doesn’t make it go through your record and check what you have written in it. If found wrong change it and go to afraid.org and check dns trace again. If still makes a problem you can get your part of help at mail2sc@del1.cjb.net
2. Now when you have owned the domain and your domain is pointing to the ip/ns servers you mentioned, you are ready to make the website. Go into the account cpanel of your webhost and go to the file upload directory ( sometimes they even write a message don’t upload on this directory) also do check that there is an index file and also working or not. Than go inside the upload directory ( its actually your file uploadation point- where you will start to upload your files) it maybe written as hdocs or admindocs , click it. Now upload a file of your want and check it. Go to the file address say LoSE@myname - Powered by CO.CC if its working, this means your website is working properly. Now make a webpage ( homepage) there are editors and there is html making too, or upload a previously made file on docs and copy paste it. Don’t forget to click save or upload. And publish. You must give the links of the files you uploaded on the server on the homepage, these links are like www.mypage.co.cc is available . The most popular way to make a website in 21st century GOOGLE APPS
This is the most useful way of making a cool website with absolutely great features and cool gadgets and also the service is great because it is provided to you all for free by google .
After you have signed up a free/paid domain , go to google apps .
Read the policies, .
After reading the policies go to this page Sign up for Google Apps
and write your acquired free domain in it. You will get two forms to fill, fill in your details and make and admin account like admin@domain.com ( with this account you will login to google apps admin) * don’t forget it and the password J
Now click ok/sign up and go to a page called dashboard. You will see services, there is the email service( which attracts me most) , sites , webpages ( available on paid domains) , calendar , docs, etc etc ..
Click on the email and you will go to a page where you will have to activate it, There is a list of something like this , aspmx.l.google.com with priority 10 , what you have to do is go to the admin section ,settings of your domain account and fill these records ( these are called mx records) when you have all correctly, come to the email activation page and click I have completed. You will see that the services are updating, if you have done it correctly you may see that after one refresh of this page this is written “servers are updating this will take an hour” this is written in green, this means that your service is ready to use and you can start it right now, .. After an hour the services will work flawlessly.
Now you can click on google pages, or google sites and make your websites. You can change the google site address as www.yourdomain.co.cc is available by clicking pages/sites section, go to change site/webpage url and click choose the prefix you want, for example if you want the homepage than it would be like www so change your cname records in your domain hosting account in settings. Go into domain settings and click ad record. Choose cname. And write record as www , while server/value as ghs.google.com ( or whatever google apps provides you). Click ok and you will have the homepage. For making a personalized email site , click email service and click change url, write email prefix for example mail/login and change the cname records in your domain settings.
Whenever you are making a site in either pages/site never ever forget to save and publish the pages otherwise you may not be able to make your pages online, even when you logout, do not forget to make pages published.
Email hosting : The most common way to email hosting is Google apps, which is free, secure and fast. The google apps is based on gmail interface and on one domain there are 2000 accounts with 7 gb( as on 10/2008) . But other than Google apps, there are some more email hosting services present on the net.
1. LIVE This is a great service from Microsoft. Actually the service is also meant for making free websites, but I found it too slow and lazy server. But the email system is splendid. You can have upto 100 accounts on one domain and ask for more. The storage is 6 gb.
2. Gawab.com An Arabian email hosting company, I don’t know where they are based, but the service is good to maintain and you get unlimited accounts. Actually, you can allow others to sign up too on your domain and you can delete those spamming. If you don’t want others to sign up please don’t give them your email service’s url which is so long. Good email service, but just 4 mb of storageJ .
3. Smartdots.com A German email service , actually here you can’t add your domain , you can get a domain name of theirs for free. Something like yourname.net.tc and you can have unlimited email accounts like @yourname.net.tc. You can open or close sign ups. Create many accounts at one go. Email system has pop support and mails are deleted in 30 days.
Free url redirection:
There are many companies giving free url redirection services. Actually what this service does is, it makes your long site shorter. I am listing some of them below for more you can find in the google search “ free url redirection”
If you want a country domain free url redirection click advanced search in google( written in small in right side) and write for example .in / . ru in the search by site function.
You can get free url redirection services at most of the service providers which also give domain hosting. Other than these, I am naming a few.
1. Smartdots.com free and easy service, you also get mail unlimited accounts.
2. Co.cc
3. co.nr
4. Sitelutions.com
5. shorturl.com
6. V3.com
