Thread: sendmail on localhost php

Hi,

I wanted to know how to start mail system on linux server.
I tried many websites to do so but failed for the following mail server like postfix,sendmail,qmail.
Currently i am looking to at least send an mail from my linux server.
May i know the steps to do so.
My pc is newly formatted with centos 5.
My college project deadline is coming near and i am only stuck on this area .

Horde does??? i dont know never tried..

Extremely sorry for such delay reply.
Ya i am using phpmailer. i even tried to add google smtp port but it fails or goes in to a loop.what to do
