Default Yet another alog change by bigdaddy

I dont know how many webmasters actually frequent this forum but I would really appreciate if you could share your views about the most recent google alog change which occured just after the PR update on the 28th of April.

I am seeing a dip by approx 85-90% in google refferals on a few of my sites and this is one of them which has taken the hit badly.

In my opinion google has discounted some particular types of links this time around and I first though this was just a test and will be reversed in a couple of days but this now seems to be a long lasting change. My first guess is tha google has discounted links comming from blog posts which look like sponsored to the bots.My second guess is that google does not like a partucular type of linking structure any more which it used to love until recently (If you are in the circle who knows what I am talking about and if you are not, you dont need to know) and it has chucked it out of the alog all together I suppose.

I am hoping that things go back to normal as they were before the 28th of april. The funny part is that over all my total gross and net revenue has actually gone up even with these few websites taking the toll because as these went down I am seeing an unpresedented growtn on a few others.

Any views/suggestions will be much appreciated.(I am not looking for stupid comments like it happens all the time and stuff like that coz it doesnt)

For those who are interested ... .. .

This sites rankings came back to normal 10 mins ago and its 4:20AM here in India so cant tell if the tailenders rankings have been restored aswell as all the major keywords are back to normal.

"reliance broadband" No 1
"bsnl broadband" No 3

I would like to hear from those whose sites got burnt in this alog change as I might be able to help now as I now know what exactly has been changed in alog this time.

Very true.. me not a webmaster, and like you said, I really don't know what the hell you're talking about.. never mind.. seems like it's bothering you a lot, so, I guess it's a very serious problem..
