Thread: How is Nettigritty for webs hosting?

Hello,

I have a question from a friend of mine in Bangalore. He wants to create a small business website and it looking for a good web host based out of the city. He is looking at Nettigritty which seems to be quite good. Does anyone have any experience working with them or has a website which has been hosted on their server?

Never heard of them.Tell your friend to get hosting from hostgator or bluehost or something. Why would your friend want hosting based in his city? It does not make any difference and you would get better customer service from companies based in USA.

Try 1and1 hosting...... Cheap and good service.....

Choosing a web hosting sometimes depends on your data centre preference. If you are targeting Indians, host at local data centre, you'll have better & easier ranking within your community.

Thanks for all the suggestions! I will look at the other options provided by you all and tell him to do the same!

I do not think that is true at all. 99% of the people are completely unaware of where the site is hosted, where the data center is located, etc.

What matters to the users are the following aspects:

- content! content! AND content!
- performance of the website - fast access, easy navigation, etc.
- relevancy of the content! and this again leads to content

Admin i think website host to be selected based on its visitors if from India then Indian host if it is world wide then US better choice, as we all know that India face lots of problem with its international upstream providers due to under sea cables cuts recently we face lost of problem with TATA Communications internet lease line just today they resolve this issue we are facing the slow connectivity from past 15 days with lease lines and this is not only TATA, Airtel and reliance customers also have the same issues.

So this means they all Indian ISP's have the same internal bandwidth and upstream providers.

so a issue like above can effect the website performance ....?

This forum is hosted in USA. How many times have you seen it down or even loading slow?
