Thread: How good is cloudfare ?

I tried it recently on my site. It was giving errors like no cache available and all. Removed it in a day. I have seen such problems with a few other sites I have visited. Does using cloudfare add any specific value to your site ? Or is it just an eye wash. I saw in a forum that a cloudfare representative being vociferous about their service. Anyone here using / used cloudfare for long enough to rate it ? Did you get any advantage by using it ?

I have used it in the past and we are offering it as a addon with our shared/reseller packages to every clients. It really works as a caching system which can cache your pages and show the visitor the cached version.

Cloudflare uses Nginx webserver for this caching, which is known for its reverse proxy performance. Only thing is that you have to configure cloudflare correctly.
