Cost of bandwidth for hosting sites india

Hi,
How much does bandwidth cost in India as far as hosting is concerned. For example approx how much does 2tb of bandwidth per year cost ?

2TB is a large data.
You should ask the webadmins of sites like indiatimes.com because they also host websites, but their prices are negotiable(and not clearly mentioned anywhere, sorry didnt search though). take a look on google..

Bandwidth is very costly in India. A normal/basic server with 500GB bandwidth will cost you around 6k to 7k per month.

I reckon you must contact some indian web admins. But in my POV, 2TB is too massive

Adam Dijk That is a lie. Bandwidth costs are almost at par with international companies and the taxes in India lower then most developed countries. Its the profit margins of these Indian companies which are higher and the end users are the ones who pay for it.

There are some companies which charge you similar prices to American companies but honestly Indian webhosting companies are not worth doing business with as I have used the best of the best here and they all are good for nothing full stop.
