As I am about to start a new website for my programming endevours..I am looking for a good reliable website that can host my data and it shouldnt be too expensive..After searching google for it finally I landed on ManasHosting..Does anyone here know about their reliability,uptime and are they value for money?..

do not waste your time with these fly by night web hosts.. just go with the big names in the industry..
If you are looking for shared hosting then go with host gator and if you are looking of a dedicated server go with layeredtech.com I am using them both for the last four and a half years and have never had problems with their support or any other department and the uptime is excellent.
Layeredtech's response time is better then any other hosting company I have ever used.

Hi this is kiran.I have seen manashosting website.There are lot of new offers this company is offering.I took one package from manashosting and i'm really happy with the service.They have good customer/tech support.

yes even i have taken new package from manashosting.Unlimited bandwidth package .I was wondering how they offer us unlimited space and bandwitdh really.Anyway i have taken the package and see the price also they are soo less only Rs.1500/- for 1 year.I have got good help from their support team also.I will tell all my friends about this so that even they can use this offer and their bussiness runing well.

Though (because) I am one of the user of Manashosting services, I DONT recommend this hosting service. I too was drawn away by its cheap package. But since I had not taken reviews from others, I bought their package. Also my website project was a bit experimental and so I didnt mind slow speed.

There are various reasons for my comments.
First and foremost, they are very slow in hearing you. Whatever means you use, online chatting, email tickets, etc your querry doesnt get prompt response.
Secondly their control panel is Doome panel. It takes ages to make changes. Also the HELM control panel itself is not fool-proof. Many a times it show me various packages which are not included in my package deal.
Also the server remains down for for a long time and even the ftp takes ages for uploading/downloadin on 1MB broadband connection.
Third, they dont provide any SEO tools and from control panel. It simply remains inactive icon. They provided me with 5000 web templates but even these templates are only about 100 or so. They gets repeated as you scroll deeper.
Fourth their own website is not completely developed. A lot of pages are still underconstruction or "comming soon".
So what can you expect from such hosting provider who cannot manage their own sites.

The moral of this is only in one line.
Dont go with Manashosting

manas hosting is the one of the worse website hosting service provider so keep away from that type of service they are providing zero service and every restart the server chat support is zero not responding

i made ticket 3 days back right now tickets are open

for billing take 3 days to check my online transection

so keep away and buy hosting space from other company

I just register on this form to say don't use Manas Hosting. I have my website hosted on there server, and most of time my site is down.
Some how I reached google page rank few months back, but now I lost rank because most of the time my site shows Network Problem.

In Google Webmaster Tool I am getting this error: "We can't currently access your home page because of an unknown problem." This error was rising because Google not able to crawl home page because its not responding, after a long time it showing error page. And I lost Alexa Rank as well.

I have not used manas hosting so cant really comment on their service but one thing I know for sure is that hostgator is a pretty good host and I have a few accounts with them and Ive never had any problem with them.
If your current host is not doing a good job then all you need to do is move to some reputed shared host like host gator or host monster and your problems will be gone.

Hello!

I Bought a package in manashosting. They have not even replied about my payment.

Again I bought a domain for my college symposium. I have registered the domain 20 days before the symposium. But they have registered only after 2 days from the symposium. That is around 22 days for a single domain registration.

Their phone support is not good. Whenever I called the number, it says Busy or they will never attend the call.

Also their ticketing system is very bad. I have posted my problem in a detailed manner and asked for correction. Then after 1 week they asked me what's my problem.

Then I told them that I am very serious and will go to Consumer Court. Then only they corrected my problem after 10 days..

Ha ha... Don't go there..

Ive been a customer for 8 month and i have to say that Manashosting is the most reliable hosting provider. My site has been very reliable and I haven't experienced any downtimes.you can try manashosting.
