Well i have heard that proxies are not allowed in most of the shared hosting companies as they are using a lot of bandwidth so what I would strongly recommend you is , get a VPS or if you can afford a dedicated server it would be much better

Not sure why would you want to start another proxy when there are already a million of them available.
Shared hosts hate proxy sites and even a vps will start making crackling noises even with very little traffic as every site browsed will go through your server making bandwidth usage a pain in the butt.

If you are really so keen on setting up a proxy site then start with a vps and advertise it at the right places and once you start getting some steady traffic move it to a big ass dedicated server as and when you can afford it.

But in my opinion its not a very profitable niche as there is very little you can do to monetize that traffic... most of it you will get will be from China.

I totally agree with Admin , I have seen many webmasters opening like 20-30 proxies and they say that they are making a lot of money from Adsense and from other affiliate links but what I dont get from Proxies is , why should someone visit my proxy when they can finish what they are looking for at Proxy.org

There was someone on DP forums offering free proxy hosting which I used for a few months and he was providing a really good service, Ill look to see if I still have his username.

Well as of the Proxy Hosting you can get someone from DPF and there are many people who are offering this service and as of the shared service it would be hard to get a shares resale hosting service for proxy as it uses a lot of system resources.

I am also looking forward to make some proxies websites and i was also looking for some cheap and reliable proxy hosting. As i am going with a 50 proxy network i think i would need a VPS server. If any one have cheap and reliable VPS server which allows proxy hosting then let me know.
