Thread: Advice on proxy hosting

I am willing to start a network of 20-30 proxy sites. I wanted to know that shall i go for shared hosting or shall i go for dedicated hosting. I want my sites to be fast so that its users don't have to wait for a long time.

Suggestions are highly appreciated.

You can use HostGator or Host Monster.

But sometimes even one proxy would suck up resources of one whole dedicated server.

Well as of the resources i think it would be nice to go with big packages but one thing i wanted to ask you is that do these hosting companies permit to host proxy sites on there servers.

you should do with a dedicated server and this is because proxy sites eats a lot of system resources and remember to have a big bandwith plan.
