    Default Favourite web hosting company?

    Hi all,
I'm just curious to know what companies are the best in web hosting field? I have heard a lot of positive reviews about Hostgator regarding it's services and technical support. Bluehost is second to Hostgator in terms of these services, I guess. How is your experience with these or any other company, if you are, or have been working with them? Share your favourite web hosting companies.

I've heard a lot of good things about Bluehost and Hostgator. You are correct, they're both reliable web hosting company and I think they're two among the leading web hosting service provided at this point in time. I am not with this hosting company but referring to the top listing I seen over the net, they're always present as best web hosting. I also seen eHost and iPage that always appear in the listing.

When it comes to finding the best webhosting company, a lot depends on the needs of the individual.

There are a lot of review sites out there, so depending in your requirements and what sort of budget your on, it's best to check the reviews but also look at a company that will cater to your specific needs.

Hmm, reading reviews is a good way to know the best sites available but, I think it's not good to just rely on several reviews because there are already so many paid reviews on internet. Asking the experts is also a good way to choose from many better available options. As far as my opinion goes, I think hostgator and bluehost are the best player in this field but, I think hostgator has increased the amount for its packages recently.

While it's true that you do have to be careful with reviews, I think on a lot of the sites you can usually tell whatsoever fake and what's not.

While I've never used them myself, a lot of people use Godaddy and their prices seem competitive.

I am using Virjox. I am really satisfied with them. Their web hosting is not expensive but domain names are.
Web hosting is very fast, no downtime. I had no problems with online users.
Their support is great, they are online everyday.
For domain names I am using NameCheap. As the name says, they are cheap and very good company.

I am using NameCheap hosting to host my sites. They are offering nice services for a reasonable charge. Almost all of my websites are currently hosted on their servers. Till now I haven't faced any issue working with them. Their down time is very less and the best thing has I haven't seen it yet. My website's are always up and running.

Namecheap offers all features necessary for a website to be hosted properly. The best thing is Live support option. I usually don't get any issues with them. But for a few times I contact them in order to fix issues with my themes. Afterwards, they solve my problem within a few minutes at their own. It's the best hosting provider I have ever used.

@rizwan Thanks for adding this up to mt list man! Though I haven't used their services, but I have heard some good positive reviews of them from people. I'll definitely look forward to use their services in future.

National companies, I don't know, could you tell me some? I'm looking for one right now, to host a competition. I haven't decided, Squarespace was looking good.

I have heard about hostgator, bluehost, go daddy, however, I have only used namecheap. So far I am satisfied with namecheap service. It offers shared hosting for as little as 83 cents in a month, which is the cheapest in the market

Godaddy is not accepting Paypal for any country. They offer cheap domains for everyone, However the offer has some limitations. We have to buy using a credit card, we can't buy it using any other payment method. I have once heard that Daddy accepts Skrill for Indian customers. I have never tested it, because I am not from India. Now the only hope for you is go with another registrar. 1and1 is currently going the second best domain name provider online. They offer cheap domains for new customers. They even accept Paypal and have good services. You can give it a try and buy your domain from there site.

I prefer the web hosting that has easy payment system for instance accepts payment via payment processor such as paypal. I once tried to register my domain through Go Daddy, they accepted paypal, however they needed verified paypal. Mine was unverified paypal account therefore, I did not go with Go Daddy. Currently I am with name cheap
