Thread: good Domain registration service

any one gimme some suggestions to register domains in india (bangalore) ?

i have only cash ( no credit card , paypal thats y i cant go with some big registrars like godaddy.com ..... etc)

i want to register domains only not host right now ?

i need good support either ticket system or mail.

some i tried by registering .info like

hosting.india.to (f***ers not even replies to phone also)
trafficpullz.com (i asked to unlcok my domain the support ppl said senior tech will get in touch soon , which i waiting from 3 days)
few more companies like manashosting.com , etc i never got any mail wtr simple queries like rates for domains it self

pls let me know abt good domain registration service providers

If you really want to be into all this you need to hook up with a good registrar first and they dont exist in India unfortunately.

If you dont have paypal or credit card get help from one of your friends who do and pay them cash.

Use godaddy.com and you wont have any problems after that.

Indian domain registration companies are a strict no-no for anyone who plans to get from them. As the service is non-existent in Indian companies especially if you buy domain from them and host it elsewhere. Except for .in (as it is not available elsewhere) domains, I never suggest you to go for indian domain registration service.

i have one more question sorry i am newbie here .

if i register some .in domains now

and can i transfer to godaddy.com (or any other ) after 60days old ?

because for hosting surely i wont do with indian companies hi5rate with low5 bandwidths

godaddy doesnt deal with .in domains.

For .in domains I normally use two registrars and they are indomains.net and namecheap.com and I find both of them equally good and both of them accept paypal.

I suggest you take hosting as close to your target audience as possible. If you are targetting India then Indian data center should be cinsidered but as they are too costly I would suggest eithe Singapore or Hongkong and after that UK. If you host your site in USA ping is always going to be more then 250ms but UK and singapore is much less hence enhance user experience by loading your site much faster...

Hosting closer to targeted audience also has a massive effect on SEO especially google

If you want to register quickly (online payment) then go to godaddy.com. But you will not get .IN domain option there. Also they force you to buy additional services, if you need good rates.

In India, if you need good prices (and u r not buying hosting) then it is likely then you will get slow support. I was surprized to read ur feedback on trafficpullz.com - as we are managing more than 40 domains with them last 2 yrs and they always response. In domain some level of rights required - but as long company is honest and not taking u on ride u r safe.

some companies like space2let.com will give u domain at lower rate but will be nightmare for renewal and transfering domains

u r right trafficpullz.com has good support system

but that time it seems some level of authorization problem

actually i am taking only domains so may be its a cause for bad support

! Don't fall for .in domains that are advertised as 100 INR per year or below 200 INT per year. the price is for the first year of registration only. You'll be charged more than 700 for the rest of the years.
!!Namecheap is preferred to godaddy because of the advanced private NS registrations provided by Namecheap and also the site is more professional with no Adverts (compared to godaddy)

I have also used indialinks.com and i think they are good. I had been using them for last 2 months and they are really reliable and supportive domain registerar. I would like to recommend them too.

I am presently using Godaddy.com as they are one of the best domain registerar right now in domain registration market. So i would recommend them for getting your next domain name.

I think that you don't get a trusted and reliable domain registration companies in India.Simply because there are no companies in India that can be trusted.

I have used mitsu for my .in domains. I havn't had any problems at all but i have found some of their backend management tools a bit confusing and not as simple as the other cpanel options i have used.

i tried signdomains, bagfull, estdomain, godaddy and now namecheap.. from my view. Namecheap is better. the price is low. domain panel is easy use and friendly. they provide free SSL Certificate.

i use indialinks and 0fees.net for small hosting...i am currently on google apps, live and gawab( for emailing) and ofees.net and my local webhoster from dehradoon,.gives 1gb bandwidth for Rs. 900/-, and he has very prestigious clients in his list...but the ppl out there lack any high tech knowledge ,, i havent got any downtimes till now..
