Thread: Find me a good host in India

Well I am looking for a really honest & good host from India. I don't paying a little more than the avg. but email/data security & privacy is the most important thing for us. We may take the email solution from big companies like google/yahoo; but from the host, you need to change the MX records for separate email solution. So there, we don't want a mischiefs from the host should they find an interest on our business. you know..

Don't have a credit/debit card else would be taking from outside India.

I really won't be changing the current host with whom for a couple of years now & paying much more than the avg. but they do not have the other requirements like .NET 2.x or greater, Sql2005 mysql etc.

First of all, i would suggest to you to get your own credit car or debit to start using hosts outside india, which offer better customer service than indian hosts. Anyway in india, somewhat better host i would say is znetindia, but not sure whether they will accept cash or cheque!

Are you looking for the servers in India or the company in India, because generally Indian hosting companies have their servers in US.

Well not necessarily this is the case ....generally indian companies hold franchise for hosting for some of the US based companies but they do have their servers in INDIA.

Yes true but there are very few reliable hosting companies in India who have their own servers in India.

Well i dont know how good it is .....but heres one
serversindia.com or i guess its serversindia.net they have servers in INDIA and they are placed in Delhi i guess ..
One of my friend had tried for this ...i guess his site must be still on this providers.
I dont know about the report about this provider but i will try and contact my friend to get info.

Well that i cant comment on because i dont know much ....about it.
But what kind of services do u expect from them ?I mean how can we rate a provider as reliable?

First of all you should at least have some money in your paypal account.If you are buying in online.There are many sites which offer a reliable web hosting services.

I found 24HostingNow to be worth the cost and support. They are professionals. Thumbs Up !

Go for u.s servers and company having great 24/7 technical support ....

I think requirement is simple then standard packages are good for you in India there is not company who is expert in hosting business becasue very second in world techonology is getting changed and going costly. so indian hosting provider having old tech which effect your website performance. and indian host is costly also as per compair to US based or NZ based.

If still you want to host in India then Wifi4india is the goos deal my friends hosting rheir website with them but they are saying that its a good host provider but i dont have any personal exprience with wifi4india

We have a datacenter in India and can provide hosting on India based servers

it's like blowing our own trumpet but you can have a look at our company too though our servers are located in US (which translates into more reliable service) we do accept cheque / netbanking (via ccavenue) / itz cash and paypal
