Well I used byethost to host a topsite a pure and Sql based site, but they have pre-edited button.php which is majorly required by many sites that use PHP scripts and php coding.

Every free web host has got *plenty* of limitations like what you've mentioned, AmitTeli. Even in some paid web hosts, you would find a few limitations. So if you are serious about your business, it's better to go for a *good* paid host.

Glad to hear that you've chosen to host in byethost. I visited your site. Looks good with green header. You've done very well with Drupal. I'm yet to get hold of drupal. I created mine entirely using plain HTML. Best wishes with your experiments.

Yes, google should approve. As far as I know (from google itself when my application was rejected), the site should've been active for 6 months for approval. Off-topic here, though.

Donno if you'll get out of the "free" web hosting concept, but if you do, here is a good branded web hosting provider - Yahoo small business India

they have good offers - Unlimited hosting space & data transfer, Unlimited email storage, Create email users/aliases (Up to 1000), Web email accounts, Setup POP/SMTP emails, Add multiple aliases

    friends...
there are two ways to create an ad less website...
    i) by NS i.e if you know about name servers you can take a domain or a subdomain.(subdomain from afraid.org - there are thousands of interesting domains to choose for free..)
ii) choose a cpanel hosting ....and host your website there

so to get a domain you need to off some money..while free subdomains are available in many sites....

so get one of them and start making it...

    --------------------------------------------------------
some good ways to make free websites other than regualr cpanle are

    googleapps.
    live
and sometimes you can make a quick website even by google docs..
make the doc publish for everyone..copy the url and short redirect it by domain redirection services.... like fff.to - Free URL Forwarding, Short URLs with Statistics and TDS etc..

    100 or 200gb bw per/month
php safe mode is off.so you can run any php script.

Default Why dont you go for managed DNS service

Why dont you go for managed DNS service, with managed dns service you can enjoy domain freedom you can host with any were, across the world. mostly managed dns service takes 5 minutes to get the NS live.

I am trying Max4web managed dns service from past one year without any problem and it supports 5 minutes updates with 2 domains per account capacity, I paid 1900 to get this service for 2 domains.

i do not want to pay anything initially.if the response is good only then i will shift the entire thing to a dedicated server.

if the response is only lukewarm,i think the free hostig is good enough.just will keep regular backups!!

Whats the size of your website total...? i mean how much MB Max4web having 25 MB free package with 1 mysql database with 50 MB max. Just try it i don't have any personal experience with free hosting because i am having paid service but their response is great.

It maybe just the subdomains that are casuing the problem. But, it is better to be on your guard.

all the above sites i have checked.but the thing is they do not have php safe mode off, which is one of the most important things i needed.thy all require a special request, then they will have a look at the material, and maybe then turnit off..
the sites i mentioned have php safe mode off.

Freehosting is not reliable, earlier i used to use 50megs.com for hosting my blog, but frequent downtimes, lots of errors, forced me to shift to a paid hosting.

i shifted to paid hosting in month of jan, it has been 30days and uptime is 100%.

So better spend some money and move to paid hosting. these days its really cheap
    like Rs.500 per year
