Hi there,
I have and am constantly hearing about Domain + Hosting cost in and around 10$, but i have some questions,hope you will clear them.

1) How much does a Domain hosting costs??

2) Till now i have heard that a TLD costs 10$, for how many years is the hosting for??

3) Is there any site that provides TLD + Webhosting for 10 -12 $?? with 99.8% uptime??

4) Can one buy a domain using a Debit card??, if so then how much is the transaction Cost+Tax? [Paypal]

More questions that i have will be posted as time permits

you can pay yearly or even for a longer time

dont know about D card
but you can use C card & bank deposits

2) Well how much does is the cost for 1 year??

3) I know it sb21pro, one can use CC for TLD purchase, the cause for such a question was , i sometime ago came across Paypal stating " Please enter your CC/DC details in account ", so i asked it.

Domain name costs anywhere between $9 to $15 depending on the domain registrar you choose.

Hosting is different and domain registration is different.
If you register a TLD for $10, then it's for one year (at $10, nobody registers a domain for more than two years. If you find any, pleeeease tell me.)
Hosting package varies depending on the package you choose. Some choose for 1 year, some for 10 years.

As far as I know there is no such company. If you find any, kindly inform me. I'll be the first one to join there.

Yes, you can buy using an international Debit card (about half of the banks in India offer international debit cards). I did so using mine. Transaction cost and taxes depend on your domain registrar and the bank that issued the card.

I don't know much about paypal. I have never done any transactions with paypal since I verified my paypal account.

Well Pothi, i am asking since i am doubts regarding it, but how do you expect me to say regarding it when i even don't know any kind of firm information about it??

Anyways, can you specify some of the banks that issue International debit cards in India??

I know very well about PNB and UTI because my cousins are working there. They (PNB and UTI) both offer International debit card(s).

The domain costs and hosting services fee vary from site to site.Some sites have an hosting fee for one year.I am now hosting my site in gigapros.com.They are cheap and do reliable hosting services.
