Thread: How to make the file with no name

THis trick really works, itz amazing! U gonna shock ...



1) Make sure NumLock is on
2) Rename the file....hold down the Alt key, type 0160(numpad only)
3) You get the file with no name

I am just getting this pop up message..

It worked for me..pretty intersting...

@jee.ramesh you have to keep the numlock on to do this...iam sure it will work

it worked...before i typed 1060 instead of 0160....

You can use the same for folders and if you change the folder icon to a blank one you've got a folder with no name or icon though still selectable in Explorer.

it works in password box too
in password box it just gives a space

i made nameless folder.. now am not able to delete.. tell me how to delete.. lol.. dragging to recycle bin or shift delete or delete nothing works.. sad ...

yes brother.. tell me.. i was abt to install ICE XP..but linux is alos good it seems .. but i have never used it.. i dont know to operate it.. tell me which one should i install??


and i wanted to ask one more thing.. my many torrents are half downloaded.. is there any way.. i can save tht much part.. something like back up in some other partition.. then again in new OS i will install utorrent client n download continues?? :surrender::surrender::surrender:

I dont think so .... better complete the Downloads fully ....

thats i need to wait some i week to complete.. around 5 gb..... and i donwload b/w 2 to 8 am.. tht i dotn get up everyday... thts the big problem man.. really i should do something.. tht automated downloading process am not able to configure much..

docotor if you want to use linux then i would like to tell you something before you install it on your system
you will not be able to use all the prog which you use on windows but there is a way to use all of them in a different manner. like you can not use yahoo messanger, AIM, live messanger but can use GAIM to config all of these

can not use lot many other microsoft prog and sutff

if you want to install ice xp can go forward for that but to install linux you can go to ubuntu install guide (Ubuntu Install Guide (Step by Step)) or you can install it inside your windows using Wubi - Ubuntu Installer for Windows

i really don't know any way by which you can resume same torrent download after reinstalling your OS

nothing expirementing buddy.. lol.. 1st i need to download ubuntu..lol..later i will see learning.... till i tht much time i will use ice xp..anyways i have formatted my lappy some 28 times in 7 to 8 months...

yes mate i know about Ice XP its developer version of WIN XP OS with Vista interface
and FYI: it is not Genuine Edition of Windows

means it will work nicely without nay glitches right?? how is the appearence??

not sure about any glitches as i never tried this but checked it on google and it got some good themes

Try dos to delete (or rename) the folder. But delete worked for me normally.

This is not a nameless file. All characters are made with dots. Alt+160 is a special character that contains no visible dots. It is an illusion but good one. I knew this way back in 1980's.
