is this a local network ? or are they connected elsewhere. or is it that u have taken 2 different BB and using them simultaneously ?

What exactly do you mean by different networks? Here's some you could look into. If you are using the pc as a client - disable routing. Make sure the two NICs are in different subnets. Then again it might even work even if they are in the same subnet but there could be routing issues and you may have to create static routes to optimize your network access. Make sure each NIC is getting the proper ip address in the range of the subnet/network it is connected to.

If it works when first started and drops a little later I'd think it probably is a routing issue.
