How was the service pack 3 installed ??
along with winXP or seperately ?

mainly this prob happens due to battery failure but thought about the problems with service pack installations.

If its not a virus... Try resetting the system time... I mean remove and re-place that cmos battery on ur mobo... Feedback..

U can download full version of AVG from here.

P.S.- If u r talking about cracked full version, then read FAQ...

thanks for tellin me the FAQS but i got warnin too from Just$kix relating to that..
but i have not been able to solve it yet...

watever i got to know about this virus is this:->
this has just attacked on my WINDOWS TIME ADJUSTMENT..
so as to change it every time i start my computer to
    SEp 20,2020..

because of this only..my License for AVG got failed since its certificate was valid till 2018 only...
AVG has not been able to detect the virus too that was updated to the day(28th dec 2008)...
now wat i should do except FORMATTIN my computer..

even restoring to previous restore point is not solving the problem

if its really a virus related problem, then the following step will help u.

Download Bitdefender2008/2009 trial version ( google it ), it should give u 30days free service, install it update it and do a full computer scan with it. If there is a virus in ur system, rest assured, BitDefender will get rid of it for you.

Or if u could take the trouble, you can try booting with pen drive linux and see if the date is shown properly over there...

If it does, u can reformat n do all the stuff..

I had this same problem in my Windows mobile .... only difference is that it would change the Date and time to some Random Entry rather than any specific time

Still have nt figured out what the problem is ..... i suspect its a virus as i do use internet on it extensively
    I Do have F-Secure AV installed ....
