legit lifetime license maybe too much considering the fact that there will be several millions of people testing win7. but at least they could have given some decent discount on MS OS products.

There is no way to get lifetime validity. You cannot update to future release either. The Operating System will stop working after 6 months.

Well, actually not quite. The number of product keys the company will offer for Windows 7 Beta downloads is limited. For the 32-bit version they are: 6JKV2-QPB8H-RQ893-FW7TM-PBJ73; TQ32R-WFBDM-GFHD2-QGVMH-3P9GC; GG4MQ-MGK72-HVXFW-KHCRF-KW6KY; 4HJRK-X6Q28-HWRFY-WDYHJ-K8HDH; and QXV7B-K78W2-QGPR6-9FWH9-KGMM7, while for the 64-bit version they are: 7XRCQ-RPY28-YY9P8-R6HD8-84GH3; RFFTV-J6K7W-MHBQJ-XYMMJ-Q8DCH; 482XP-6J9WR-4JXT3-VBPP6-FQF4M; JYDV8-H8VXG-74RPT-6BJPB-X42V4; and D9RHV-JG8XC-C77H2-3YF6D-RYRJ9.

Note : Even If u did register wid M$ u will get the same key as above no matter how many times u try, so this's not illegal

Hmm I love the data on my PC far too much to be a guinea pig for M$ I would advice you folks to try this on a backup machine and not on your main PC as Vista has fucked up my HDD before because of constant thrashing...

Anyways what are the recommended specs for running the beta?

I had been waiting for this win7 ever since they released dx10 and vista. I had never liked vista but i think that i m goin to be in love with this new one. One think I gotta know though, is the thick idiotic taskbar in win7 alterable ? I mean are there any options to change it ? (specially thickness)

UT3 works great in Win7. Its runs almost twice as good as in Win 7 as compared to vista(measured FPS).
