Sorry, my bad missed the "3" there.

    i was talking about Unreal_Tournament

you are right UT3 is Directx based and is available for Windows platform only.

This is a Windows 7 Beta discussion thread. Let's try to keep it like that and keep other discussions out.

Anyway, after hearing so many good reviews about Windows 7 Beta, I have just started to download it.

I think it will take about five and a half hours to download. So, maybe I will complete it tomorrow.

Ofcourse u should try Win 7. It is really a tempting package, which will be a stiff competitor for Linux distributions. Microsoft has finally come up with something really innovative, with less clutter. I am on a 768MB RAM pc, and even rocks on such low end configs..

Windows 7 is still in beta stage. There will be lots of bugs still undiscovered in the OS. Hence the graphics performance will also be moderate. Such comparisons can be established for sure once the OS is made RTM and released to the public.

We still haven't had any such comparisons of the performance of games in XP and Windows 7 Beta yet here.

But, it is now quite clear that it is somewhat better than Vista (atleast for now).

I've tried UT3 and Crysis on Win7. They both runs as good as they run in XP. But its in beta stage so we'll have to wait and see how the final products turns out to be.

Has anybody tried the checked and debugging versions?
They will be much slower than the other free release...(I think so)...

I have tried Build 6801, it was fast but at same time it had lot of bugs. IE8 didn't work.
but now, everything is so perfect.the whole OS is working great except program incompabilities.

I am using windows 7 on my laptop, it has been long time since i booted into vista.
