Rep Power: 2   |  Got activation Prob in Win Media Centre Edition SP3 Downloaded a MSDN version from net. I used the Dell key to install it on my PC. Now after installation i didnt have any problems. It was running smooth for some one week. Yesterday i connected internet to tat PC, when i restarted my system it was asking me to activate the Copy of Windows The only options available was either activate or Logoff :-( The only solution i had was to get in safe mode and restore it to an o;der date. It worked fine...... :-) But again the next day i faced the same problem. Any idea on how to bypass that activation problem ???? I prefer not to reinstall the copy of windows. Is there any way of crackin it rather than doing a reinstall ????? |

Rep Power: 2 | Didnt know that mate......... Anyway solved it myself....... This is an issue detected by microsoft. They faced this issue in 2002. The issue was like Windows will ask u to activate the product every time ur system boots. This issue was solved by microsoft by provodong some hotfixes......... |

Rep Power: 1 | Glad you worked it out yourself. To prevent future problems, try installing the Student Edition of XP..it works flawlessly. |
