I can't tell you that unless i know what your gonna use it for , say entertainment as in movies, music etc or games or jus plain browsing etc.
on 512 vista is ok but 1 GB is good IMO. Ofcourse other factors like Processor , RAM (DDR or DDR2) , HDD speed cause some difference in whole.
Is it Windows Vista ?
I use Gaim/Pidgin for Instant Messaging. But it doesn't have Video or even Voice Chatting feature.
Thanks for the advises. I am going to upgrade RAM very soon.
Is 2 GB enough for all or 3 GB ?
I use system for
1. Internet Browsing
2. Voice Video Chatting
3. Playing Games
etc

How about not even to install them with Windows ?

With nLite you will be able to have Windows installation which on install does not include, or even contain on media, the unwanted components.

i just want to cear all the queries before trying this..........
my nlite modded pc is really a jewel to behild, you dont go much lower than 150 mb for an XP install with all those mods!
yes moded installations are good for personal use if you are a frequent formatter ... actually what happens is that you never know when you will need a feature which you are currently leaving out as unnecessary ... isnt it!! i have used a few moded windows versions ... looks cool ... uses less resources ... but somewhere down the line causes a few problems like driver supports etc when we need those features later ...
^^^
do u have idea about win xp Darklite edition and black edition.........???
ya i have used nlite to integrate drivers into the setup disc, saves me a lot of time. but i rarely have to format nowadays, so my antivirus and windows updates and firefox are my real time savers...
i have not modded anything else. i like stuff in its originality.
DON'T beam me up, Scotty!
