Default Pixelview Play TV Pro on Windows Xp

    Hey,
I have a old TV Tuner Card lying around, purchase it few year back. it came for driver of Windows 98 and ME. Now my Tv is conked off, so need a temp solution.

Now, the problem is I need Windows Xp drivers for this Pixel view device. the complete name of this device is:

    PV-BT878P+rev.4C/8X/10A

Also, suggest a good PVR software.
a guide to make this tuner work with Dish TV.

    Thanks in advance

    anyone please?

Okay, somehow i managed to get drivers installed. Now the card is working nicely.
    But there is no Audio/Sound

I am using Composite cable(3wires, red, yellow and white) to connect DISH TV's STB to Tv tuner.

The Yellow wire goes in Video In
Now, how to get the audio, i tried inserting red and white wires alternately in audio-in jack.

But I think jack size is different. no sound.

also, i tried connecting Speakers into Audio-Out of Tv Tuner card. but still no sound

    Please guide

ok... i wont be able to help with the particular sudio problem you mentioned ... but i can suggest an alternative ...

i think this option must be in dish tv stb also as it is in my tata stb ...

i am talking about "only a single cable option" for sound as well as video (just like the cable tvs) ... you dont need to have different audio and video jacks ... use the simple cable to connect the stb and tv tuner ... it should work fine for you ... and you wont notice any quality difference ... this option is mainly provided in stbs for old TVs which do not have separate audio - video jacks

as far as i can understand, u need to get a stereo audio cable to 3.5mm adapter, this wud go into the stereo earphone like jack behind the card, and the two separate stereo speaker connectors into the stb's audio out. i have pixelview play tv pro3 and this is what i use for that.

but i'm not sure if the stereo input exists on ur card sorry... if not then u will have to try what saurav suggests.

for this process he will need to plug it through the RF input, which means he will need the normal coaxial cable used for cable tv, right? do STB's still have an RF?

i think yes ... my tata sky stb is a year old ... for the initial few months i used to connect it using the normal coaxial cable only ... no significant difference in quality will be noticed ...

Display differences might be noticed only when the screensize is increased.

Here is what i have done:
*Used a Video(Yellow) port of RCA cable to connect STB to Video-in of TV Tuner

*Used a RCA to 3.5mm Stereo convector to connect from STB to TV tuner's sound in

*Used a Loopback cable to connect Tuner card Audio-out to Line-in of Sound card.

The video quality is better than TV but no sound
