i'm planing to buy a new intel quad core processor

Quad Core Q6600 2.4 GHz Q6600 - (8MB L2 cache 2.4Ghz 1066MHz FSB) dis one is for abt 9500 -10000 n a supportable motherboard.
do let me know how is it ??
or suggest any other latest gud processor.

at present Intel is best bet as far as CPU is concerned. u seem to building a GOD BOX..

Btw, a Q6600 is totally outdated. Its production has almost stopped.
and StormShadow, i guess u have not heard of the AMD Phenom II processors.
AMD are back in the mainstream and performance segment.
Have a look at the Q9300 or the AMD phenom 2 920.
If they are too expensive for u atm, w8 for 2 weeks, prices should fall to the 10k mark.

AMD Phenom II X4 is the latest among the lot.
