    I use
    Google Notebook - to make a note of something, that will be avialable to you any time.

    Firebug - It allows to change design, style and html layout of web pages, very helpful in development face.

    Free Download Manager - My download manager plugin.

    Cooliris - It allows one to view webpage without opening it, just hover your mouse cursor on particular link. It's very helpful when you Google and don't want to open unnecessary pages. check out it's website : cooliris.com

    This is also helpful when you don't want your name to be included in someone's profile on Orkut when you visit their profile.

    del.icio.us-For bookmarking websites.

    @nilact
    Please edit and add numbers to
    the add ons you have mentioned.
    ..@danny86 1 to 3

    ... @newprouser 4 to 16

    ......@essbebe 17 to 22

    ........@nilact 23 to 27.
    Request to other contributers.
    Just mention the numbers of add ons you use
    from above list,
    and add new details, in same way. Thanks.

    Ensures the thread is read from beginning !
    and avoids repetitions.

    Para three;
    @newprouser
    bookmarklets
    Makes job easier forwarding extracts from web pages etc, using different email clients.
    Why do this?*
    This is my first extension. I made this extension because I got sick of going to websites with interesting articles/videos that asked you to register if you wanted to send the article-link to people via email.

    thanks newprouser, And capri, those are really good addons.
    Well, i always use SwitchProxy Tool 1.4.1 for some sites.
    SwitchProxy allows you to manage and switch between multiple proxy configurations very quickly and easily.

    Other interesting addons:

    Morning coffee: This extension lets you organize websites by day and open them up simultaneously as part of your daily routine. This is really handy if you read sites that update on a regular schedule (like web comics, weekly columns, blogs, news etc.).

    Text formatting toolbar: The Text Formatting Toolbar is a toolbar that allows the easy formatting of posts on forums, blog comments and wikis; it supports three formats BBcode (bulletin board) like used on most forums, HTML and the format used by Wikipeida.

    British English dictionary: For people who prefer colour over color.

    Footie Fox: Live football score updates for over 200 leagues and cups of 60 countries. Very good if you are a football fan.

    PS: Firefox people are now calling add-ons and extensions by a new term called "Change-arounds".

    Check out their official blog for the reason why...IMO it sounds stupid.

    Absolutely.
    First they termed as "Extension" then as "Add-On" (both were good enough) and now this "Change-Arounds" (Horrible)

    hi guys, been lurking for a while...here's my addition:

    UltraSurf Firefox addon
    http://www.ultrareach.net/download_en.htmUltrasurf is a great little program that allows your system to hide your IP and therefore browse under the radar. It can also function as a proxy server connection. (hint hint)

    Ohh!!!

    I have been too late to come here!!!

    Now, I have to dig through all the posts to find my add-ons and add extra ones and number them. :yawn:

    1. WOT

    2. Interclue

    4. Adblock Plus

    6. Datafox

    17. IE Tab

    19. NoScript

    21.Flash Block

    22.Screengrab

    Continuing as per the number I have just counted up to...
    62. DownThemAll! -
    Integrates fully into Firefox

    @Rodbale
    I think this toolbar is what you just wanted!

    63. Abduction -- Helps to save picture of selected areas of the screen.

    64. Bookmark Duplicate Detector -- As same suggests. Detects existing ones and as well as adding new ones.

    65. Skipscreen --- I think many you will find this useful. It skips the waiting time in sites like RS, mega upload,zshare etc. but you have to enter the captcha nevertheless.It is not perfect yet.

    66. UnMHT -- enables saving webpages as MHT's (which have all the html and its related pages combined into a single file (like .zip), which can be opened in a browser. FF does not natively support this format, IE & Opera do.

    Very usefull when u want to save a webpage but having to manage a single file instead of .html and associated files.
