Desktop looks strange - Please help

hi,

I use XP. Whenever I use Picasa 3, my system restarts. I happened the same today. But the problem is, it made a permanent damage. My appearance settings is affected. I tried system restore more than once. But the system shuts down before restore and I cannot complete it. I tried changing the appearance settings without success. Please help me sort this problem.

What is reported in PicasaBadFile.txt?
sometimes picasa crashes before creating this file...so list out if anything mentioned in this txt

What is the "damage" DONE ?
BOTH SCREEN SHOTS APPEAR SAME.

Oh! it seems, it is only for me. My screen looks awful. Like when we invert colours in an image. I can hardly read. Not sure how to post the screen shot if you cannot see it.

I removed picasa completely. I will check and post if i can find any.

ya those screen shots are ok ... check if your monitor is having problem.... as we can see that screenshots are ok and you cant see it then its only the problem of monitor...

Just tried Quake 3 Game. After that everything is ok. Now the appearance is back to normal.
