    Process Explorer

    Process Explorer v1.1 .33 feb 4th 2009.

    Extract
    Ever wondered which program has a particular file or directory

    open? Now you can find out. Process Explorer shows you

    information about which handles and DLLs processes have

    opened or loaded.

    The Process Explorer display consists of two sub-windows. The

    top window always shows a list of the currently active processes,

    including the names of their owning accounts, whereas the

    information displayed in the bottom wind................................

    I use it.. Being a programmer i really need to know that which application holds my DLL and other vital details...Use it, Really good stuff from Sysinternals..

    Also try AnvirTaskManager free from
    Windows task manager processes, Windows startup, Startup programs, Vista tweaks | Windows,
    I had given screen shot elsewhere today.
    for svchost.exe

    Yes, process explorer is a very good 3rd party taskmanager. i cannot remember the name of the thread, but it has been shared on IBF as an attachment before also.

    I also suggested another very good 3rd party task manager: Autoruns. try it, it provides many more options than process explorer. it is also from sysinternals.

    AnvirTaskManager is shareware..Right?
