Default port forwarding in windows 7

well,, just a minor query i have.

In my bsnl modem port forwarding is done. But as i installed new os i.e. windows 7 i just have a small query.

I am not able to do port forwarding in windows 7, I mean earlier in vista and xp,i used to go to control panel-> allow a program through windows firewall and i think u click on add port--write name utorrent and the port number. I am not finding that option. All is i can see tht window where one can select the program via browse slecting it, there i dint come across where one can input the port number.

hope you ppl understood my query.

in bittorrent at bottom do you see all green lights ? if yes then no need to do port forwarding...if not then you have to.

check below image of my BitComet. From this image you can see that i need to do port forwarding as my port is blocked. I need to open it from Router.

and in which mode are u???
Bridge or PPPOE????in Bridge mode no need of port forwarding.

    and for firewall:-
Go to Control Panel>Windows Firewall>Left pane:-
    1) Select:-

    2) Click Change Settings:-

    3) Put tick (bittorrent in ur case).

Once you rep a person, you need to rep some specific no of people to rep the same person again. This is to avoid rep trading between members. I do not know the exact no required. If you need to rep someone continuously go to some old threads and then spread some rep to non active member, come back and rep the member of your choice.
