Thread: Weather Forecast (Desktop Gadget) for XP

Hi,

I am quite impressed by the weather forecast gadget in Windows 7. Is there any method that we can have it in XP. If so please share.

You'll have to install google desktop search or something similar on your pc before you can use it.

AFAIK there are no gadgets available which operate independently.

Already got Google. It does not support my city.

Link for Google desktop gadgets. It supports stocks. Please do not depend on main gadget, search for BSE or NSE gadgets.

I am still to find the weather gadget for my desktop.

I am having the software of trading it self in which in real time the details will be updated, just need a gadget to show me approx price thats it

Let us hope somebody knows a way to fix the weather gadget.

try konfabulator aka yahoo widget. Sorry haven't tested the weather functionality.

I had come accross certain standalone weather indiacators, try searching for them. If i remember , i'll post it here.

there is a free software 'my free weather' which not only gives excellent weather forecasts to all the places of india, but also airport conditions,rush hour traffic etc.
