Thread: Can any one help me, Computer is too slow or hanged

I have a computer AMD AthlonXp 2600+,K7S41GX Asrock motherboard,768 MB Ram.Now i installed a new GeFORCE FX5500,256MB,AGP Graphics card when my old MSI Agp card got out of order. When i installed this one with suitable drivers my computer gets too slow or hang. Can anyone sugest suitable
sugetion to help me to rectify this problem

Remove unnecessary programs from the start up. Use Tuneup Utilities and optimize for best performance. Increasing Page file size may also help.

IN Desktop
select Properties
check monitor settings

always use the latest & updated drivers for your graphics card.since FX5500 is very old card so its drivers may pose some problems with VISTA.
