Default System tray Icon missing. Please help

    hi,

Some of the running programs are missing in the system tray. It happens randomly. Shaplus was missing a few days ago. Then I logged off and tried login again. It was ok. Now the gtalk is missing. Please share your ideas

    Thanks in advance.

    Which OS are you using?
Try getting to it's troubleshoot page and see if you can get any help.

Try using TaskbarRepairToolPlus! to repair Taskbar and Notification icons. It only work in Windows XP.

    1) Make sure that "Hide Inactive Icons" is not the ones making the problem for you.
    2) Download "Tweak UI" from the Windows Downloads Site, go to "Taskbar and Start Menu".

But since you are saying that only some icons are missing (the rest are visible),

    3) Try upgrading to SP3, and install the recommended/crucial updates (assuming that you are using Windows XP).
