Can you log into Windows ? If yes,

    1. Check you drives / Partition, select one of the drives, right click, select format. Please note, do not format the drive n which you have installed Windows.

    2. Restart system, boot from CD and install Windows to the drive you have already formatted.

Before that, use CA Yahoo Antispy and Spybot - Search and Destroy to scan your PC. Use the following link to find the required tools.

Can you plz mention the amount of free space in your C drive. If C drive is not the primary partition, then plz mention the amount of free space in the primary partition.

If possible post a screenshot of your HDD partition details. Go to Control Panel>Administrative Tools>Computer Management>Disk Management. Post of a screenshot of the Disk Management.

I dont think this is a virus problem.

The error messages you mentioned are shown while trying to install windows. Generally viruses are not effective till you enter windows.

Free some space in your primary partition and then try to install windows. To free space:

    - Delete the contents of the System Volume Information folder. You can see this folder if you choose to show hidden files and folders and also unhide the system folders from folder options.

    - Delete the contents of the Temp folder located in c:>Documents and Settings>Your active windows username folder>Local Settings>Temp

Start > Programs > Accessories > System tools > Disk Clean Up. But if you intend to reinstall C, you can format the drive during set up.
