Default IS anyone using MS Office 2010?

What's your opinion about the latest Office version? I feel its interface is much better and its a bit faster than 2007. Also, some features are actually visible which I didn't even know existed. For ex. Converting a table from text based on separators.

I am still trying to co-operate with this Office 2007, got no idea about Office 2010. IMO Office 2003 is better then Office 2007

Well guys, IMO if Office 2010 was a freeware, it would be much more popular than any other suites out there. That does not mean it isn't. But the present popularity comes with piracy as a by product!

Long back they had installed MS 2007 in all the systems at my office. I really had a horrible time working with MS 2007. Half of my time went is searching for the options & I had to work overtime to complete my work. Then I called back the system/network poeple & asked to install back MS 2003. Now I am happly using MS 2003.

MS 2010 is long distance for me to Master

It was an invitation only download. You had to register a long time ago for downloading the test version. Its only a preview. You'll be getting alpha or beta previews for downloads, I hope when they are ready!

I think it runs faster than older versions. Though currently since its a beta there are some problems no doubt! I hope they'll be corrected when the final version is released

After trying all the popular office suites, I am using Ashampoo Office 2008 now. It's light weight, fast and has all the useful features of M.S Office 2003 & Open Office. It also supports opening or creating M.S Office & Open Office documents.

I usually use Office 2007, and I only use it for typing up papers for class. I don't really use the really technical things anymore because of the whole layout change. It's so confusing.

i found 2007 UI is much better than 2003 or older version. Its about how you accept the change.

Many people (not you, i am speaking in general) when see any new update in UI or version of software, just raise their hands saying it hard or not easy etc etc.

Eg. Those shifting from XP to windows 7 will say that they cant find certain option in windows 7. Point is , you need to explore the options around and get used to it with positive approach.

Same is the case for Office 2003, 2007 and 2010.
