Rep Power: 1 | Hello Forum, How are you all? I am using Windows XP Pro Media Center Edition. My HDD is of size 40 GBs. I got it partitioned from my PC vendor in 4 equal parts of 10 GBs each. Now, one of my friend gave me an OS which requires at least 11 GBs of space and all my partitions are only of 9.75 GBs each (net usable space). So, i decided to load this OS as a secondary OS. But, i am not able to install it due to size restriction of each drive on my HDD. So, can you people please suggest me any way by which i will be able to combine my D-Drive & E-Drive??????? I want to leave my primary OS (C-Drive's Win XP) intact. Also, please tell me how to join these two partitions into 1 and again, after some time, if i needed, how to divide this combined partition again in two equal size partitions? Currently there is nothing on these two partitions. So, there is no need to format them, i think. Please help me with this!!!!! I am waiting desperately for your tips and suggestions!!!!! Thank you all!!!!! |
