Default Free Trial of Windows 7

Microsoft announced that they will provide their Windows 7 Enterprise OS free for 3 months from the TechNet group.

The free version is not actually available to the general consumers, its only for those through inviting users.

You have to complete a short survey before downloading. If you give honest answers then Microsoft will not allow you to download Windows 7. You have to answer the questions in a way that your an IT pro in order to be able to download Windows 7.

Users who download Windows 7 will have to activate the trail within 10 days of downloading or the product will shut down every hour, and that too without any warnings.

Download the release candidate from Microsoft site and enjoy Windows 7 till March 2010. No questions, no answers. It is an iso file, size of a CD.

^^ Apparently Windows 7 RC download had been removed from Microsoft's site after August 20.
