I am trying to install XP in one of my old machine.But it gives me this error, "Setup could not determine the type of computer you have,or you have chosen to manually specify the computer type. Select the computer type from the following list.or select "Other" If you have a device support Disk provided by your computer manufacturer. To scroll through the new items press Up arrow or Down arrow. In the dialog box two options are there : 1) Standard PC with C-Step i486 2) Other Plz ppl your help is really appreciated. Thank you. Rep Power: 9  | try installing original XP (without any Service Pack) then try adding Service Packs 1, 2 & 3 one by one. |
