Thread: Wake up batch file?

i want to put my pc to hibernate and then wake it up at 2:15 AM for NU downloading.

but i want a batch file script and not software.

plz post the script.

will it work in windows 7?

It's for Hibernating the system. I have only tested it in Windows XP.

I have set an alarm option in the m/b it so that system starts at 2.10 and Through task scheduler broadband is connected to net through a batch file (rasdial)at 2.12 am, update antivirus app at 2.13am, update peerblock at 2:14am and start utorrent at 2:15 -- then at 7:45am it is set disconnect and at 7:50 system PC is shutdown through batch command.

this works for me both in windows xp 64bit and windows 7 64bit

now i use auto-power on and shutdown for this purpose.
working well!
