Driver problem

Hi,

I have IBM Thinkpad R52 and I am facing two problems with driver installation. The driver that could not be installed are

1)Microsoft ACPI-Compliant Embedded Controller: When i tried to install this driver, the system logs off and there comes a blue screen about the software originality and than further it instructs that the system is locked and do CTRL+ALT+DEL to come back to system.....The driver is not installed

2)Intel(R) 82801FBM LPC Interface Controller - 2641: Can someone provide with link for this software as I downloaded the software but was not compatible.

seems driver outdated or system don't support it.

did u install new version of windows (or any OS) and tried to install the old drivers?

if yes then download the new drivers.
go here:Lenovo Support & downloads - Drivers and software - ThinkPad R52

download all drivers of ur current OS and install them.

I installed XP in the system. I downloaded the drivers from the source you mentioned but the problem still persists

is it ur fresh computer???
or u have installed drivers earlier also.

if u installed drivers earlier also then did they work???

go here and download and install driver detective.scan ur computer and it will automatically tell u the appropriate driver.
