    For backing up game permanently DVD is right choice. And who said pen drive is safest, you can lost it, virus & tronjans came from pen drive. So how is it safest option?
    There is no safe option as far as the storage media are concerned..........
    Even if it is DvD or Blu-Ray, it will get damaged in due course of time.........
    External HDDs are also susceptible to shocks from free fall etc.......
    A better option is to use DVDs(good quality) and store it in a safe place..........

    I agree with you, our family movie (6 years older) still in perfect condition on DVD.

    ya, I am having 128 GB pendrive of Kingston.
    It is the best and very fast in speed upto 15 MB/s.
