no,i didn't try mac on pc.
u can't install mac directly on pc i think.

No you can't instal the mac simply on ur pc.. mac os are very specific to hardware.. You can install the pc version of mac ..

You can install it. Now they also support intel architecture.
Earlier Mac OS didn't supported intel but now it do. So purchase box set from apple or use hackintosh.

Mods plz dont delete this thread yaar.. i know this is off topic but many guys are showing interest in it and popping up doubts about this..

Guys i m posting a step by step procedure to install "MAC", to be precise "Leopard" on PC. U can follow the same procedure if u wanna install "Tiger" or some other OS by Apple.

Step 1: Check your processor

The instuctions set used by MAC is different from the ones used by windows and is the same with Linux too. So you need to if your processor is compatible enough to process those set of instructions first. For this u need to download a small app called Everest.

Everest Ultimate Edition v.4.50.1403

install this software and follow these steps to check your processor.

------open Everest Ultimate Edition
------on the main screen u will find an option with an icon saying "Motherboard", select that.
------then select the option "CPU"
------then u will see a detail saying "Instruction Set"
------check if there is "SSE2" and "SSE3" under the instruction set. If it is there then u can go on with the process and install MAC.

Step 2: Prepare your hard disk for MAC

MAC (HFS file system is used) uses a different file system unlike windows ( windows uses NTFS or FAT or FAT32) so u need to create a different file system in HFS format. For this u need to install either "Partition Magic" or "Acronis Disk Creator" i prefer Acronis as it is lot more stable than Partition Magic, so i m providing links for Acronis.

Acronis Disk Director Suite v10.0.2160 - With Keygen

Install this and create a partition of at least 15gb in FAT32 format and remember it should be created as a primary partition.

Step 3: Prepare OS selector (also called boot loader)

Now in the Acronis software u even have an option called "install OS selector" select that option and install the OS selector and enable it.

Step 5: Reboot your system and begin installation

Guys now you have done all the preparation to install MAC on your PC now is the time to actually install it.


Warning: please back up all your important data so u might be safe even ifu crash ur system somehow

-----Restart your system
-----Boot from DVD
-----You will see all sorts of junk popping up in your screen, dont worry let it take time, u will get a GUI page finally to select a hard drive partition in which u can install MAC.
-----Here u will also have a menu on the top of the screen, somewhere over there u will have an option "Disk Utility" select that option and then select the FAT32 partition u have prepared in Step 2. Now format this drive into HFS partition selecting the required options.

Step 6: Ready to go

now u r all ready to go guys just go on with the onscreen options and install MAC.

I tried it about 3 yrs ago on my desktop.
Although it worked but it failed to detect my SATA HDD due to lack of RAID driver. For IDE I had no problem.

I am not sure what the scene will be at present.

Sorry for the noob quest. But does there any qemu version for "inside windows"so that one can use it inside windows. And if its like "oh thats great"than he may continue on Mac as well.

No. friend Qemu is not for windows. KVM is for LINUX only. Use hyper -V.

But Ubuntu has qemu written over there. And its inside my windows.

Qemu is not for windows.

& will never be.

are yaar it has.. and there is a Damn small Linux go to its site, it also has a qemu version qemu.bat for windows.. try yourself.. its linux in 40 mbs

Actually you can do install mac on ur PC. but sorry how to, I don't know. My friend was told me that before he done this in his lap just similar to install Linux versions, I think by using VM ware (virtual PC software). Anyhow, you have the chance to do that. Just google it..
