This is not the first warning i heard about IE few months back Government in Australia also released that stop using IE For Banking transactions and use Firefox or other browsers instead.

You can use any browser for Online payments.
( computer crash etc /data theft usual precautions )
But always keep minimum balance in the Bank Acct (B)
. just transfer the required amount from regular acct.(A)
Also ONLY one transfer can be authorized with some
special code with Credit/debit card details.
