When I first heard about computer, 128 MB RAM was considered a luxury. So for my first PC, I brought 256 MB RAM. I was quite happy with its performance till recent times. As time moved, new technology and software came into existence. I too had a floppy disk in my PC. It is now of no use. So is the case with my CD writer cum drive. The latest gadget in this series is my pen drive. Those with 1 GB and 2 GB capacity are no luxury. So I bought a Kingston 8 GB data traveler. I liked is sleek black frame very much. But when I switched into the PC, The removable device was recognized as " Kingston ". It made me think a while. I remember seeing my friends's drive on PC with their name. I too wanted that my Pen drive should be recognized in my name. I asked how to do it. The answer he gave was simple.
1. Just insert the pen drive to the USB slot
2. Go to my computer
3. Select the device
4. Right click and select format
5. Select " quick format "
6. Change the volume label to the name you wish to appear.
7. Format
Now if you plug in the pen drive, it will be recognized in your name. If you are still in doubt, check the screen shot.
